Fair Pay for Local Guides

Because we connect travelers directly with local guides, without a foreign intermediary taking a cut, more of what you pay goes directly to the people doing the work, drivers, porters, cooks, and guides, rather than being absorbed by a resale markup.

Supporting Ethical Kilimanjaro Climbs

We only work with operators who pay fair porter wages and provide proper equipment for crew members on Kilimanjaro climbs. Underpaying porters is a real problem in the industry, and it's one of the first things we check with any guide we work with.

Respecting Wildlife and Parks

• Guides we work with follow park guidelines on vehicle distance from wildlife
• Off-road driving to chase sightings is discouraged, it damages fragile habitats
• Park fees, which directly fund conservation efforts, are always paid in full and transparently

Supporting Local Communities

Many of the guides and operators we connect travelers with are based in the communities surrounding the parks themselves, meaning tourism revenue stays closer to the areas that need it most.
